Meet the Founder: 
Rob Hughes
Longleaf Financial Strategies was founded by Rob Hughes, a Milton, Florida native who grew up in the western end of the Florida Panhandle. Rob brings over 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, and business management to his clients.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Auburn University and his Master of Business Administration from Chadron State College.
Rob’s professional accomplishments include being a multi-year qualifier of Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an international association recognizing excellence in the financial services profession. He has also been recognized as a President’s Club Leader and Leader’s Court member with multiple companies throughout his career.
Beyond credentials and awards, Rob is driven by a genuine passion for helping others make wise financial decisions that positively impact families for generations.

A Family-Owned Business

Rob has been married to his wife and business partner, Shauna, since 2003. Together, they are raising two teenage sons, Trey and Trent.
As a family-owned firm, Longleaf Financial Strategies understands firsthand the importance of planning, protecting, and preparing for the future.
